the deal of the May! and/or track 18 on the trashy mix
Yesterday Hanako's tounge jewelry arrived in the mail accompanied by a funny postcard with a very confused looking Japanese girl sticking out her tounge on it. As a PS Hana said that Daniel told her about the time he and I made out oh-so-long-ago. Hahaha... See, this is made even funnier because Monday at Eric's birthday party the first story he told when I arrived was an overly dramatized account of the time he and I made out which, incidentally, was the same night Daniel and I got all smoochy. Ah, good times in Happy Valley freshman year! Hanako-- do you remember the night after the contra dance that we went back to your room and got really drunk and I told you your blanket reminded me of the day I was born? I left my hat your room and when I got back to my room I wrote myself a note so that I wouldn't forget where it was. The next morning I woke up, dazed, and was like "What happened last night?... and where the hell is my hat??" and turned and there, taped to my wall was a neon pink post-it note reading "Hat is in Random North". I still have that note, along with a collection of other favorite drunk notes (including personal favorites such as "Note to self: Bra is in Maggie's Room. Have a good spring break! -Julia" and Maggie's poem about me and "what's-her-name" sitting in a tree making genetically engineered from two eggs babies) taped to my wall in Acton.
Good times with the festie kids too! They're all working everyday from early early until late late and I've gotten to know a few of them and they seem pretty cool. Last night I watched some Chappelle show with Amialya, Liz, and Mark and the night before that we had some L Word action with Hannah, Kristin, and Tessa. I'm starting work again on the 27th which kind of sucks because I'd rather be working than not working, but it looks like I'll be with Eric and Rob and Will alot which will be nice. Ashley is TOTALLY going to pass her driver's test today (good luck!) and hopefully come up Sunday.
If I ever write a film-noire style graphic detective novel the hero will be named Lax Sebenius and his sidekick will be named Longueil Cross. They fight crime. Their archenemesis will be a former blonde bombshell now a faded middle-aged suburban housewife named Sandy Bean.
